Yeshiva of Greater Washington-Tiferes Gedaliah (YGW), an Orthodox Jewish School in Silver Spring, MD that serves the Greater Washington community, is seeking a personable, detail-oriented and motivated person to serve as the Development Coordinator.

This candidate will ensure smooth day-to-day operations in our fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Major responsibilities include:

• primary contact point for inquiries
• donor database management, including designing and running reports as needed
• written communications and mailing campaigns
• annual fundraising event planning
• small fundraising program management
• facilitating and supervising active volunteer programs
• assisting with special projects related to donor relations and stewardship
• supporting senior members of the Development Department

Excellent growth potential through expansion into donor solicitations and planned giving.

Qualifications include outgoing, friendly and professional demeanor, strong interpersonal and work management skills, detail oriented and organized, robust computer skills including high proficiency with Excel, Word, and Google Docs, and experience with any data management software. Experience with Raiser's Edge (Blackbaud) is a plus.
